Which PSU should I choose?

I will use an Ryzen 5 1600X and an RX 580. (The 2600 is almost 100$ more here. ._.)

  • Seasonic M12II-620 EVO Edition Bronze 620W

  • be quiet! Straight Power 10 CM, 80+ Gold, 500W

  • EVGA BQ, 80+ Bronze, 650W

Which one should I choose?

Many thanks!

Why those three? Can't you get a 450W Straight Power 11 or Bitfenix Formula??

You do not need 500W, 400W is enough for that setup. And the Pure Power 10 kinda killed the Straight Power 10...

Anyway, to those three:
NOT the Seasonic. It was released back in 2010, is a good 8 Years old and, by todays standard, garbage. Because it regulates +5V together with the +12V rail. And it does lack very important protection: No UVP on +12V, no OCP on either Rail and IIRC no OTP either. To make matters worse, it has tiny heatsinks and thus gets really really loud under medium load...

2000rpm at 400W Load is not aceptable...

EVGA BQ is not tested, tough I'd not expect too much of it.

That leaves the Straight Power E10. Clearly the best of this bunch. Great fan, low fan RPM, optimized for quiet operation. But its also a bit on the old side and 4 years on the Market.

Buttom Line:
If possible get one of the mentioned above. If not, get the E10.

I dont really trust Corsair PSUs anymore, my VS450 in my old build blew up.

The VS Series PSUs were really bad, no surprise it blew up. Corsair makes good PSUs but most brands have some bad models. That's why you sould never choose a PSU just because of the brand, always look at the specific model you want to buy.

There is PSU tier lists on the internet. :D

There is no tier list with every PSU listed in it. Chances are high that the person who made this list hasn't checked out this specific PSU.
