As seen in the oneplus forum: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-9-0-for-the-oneplus-6.909533/

Android Pie will be releasing on a staged rollout, with more and more devices added to list of being able to download the update.

This is exciting news to anyone who owns (or plans to own) this device!

Probably will. They announced the 3 and 3T are also getting Pie, which if it holds up, makes them so far the only non-Google OEM to deliver more than 2 major OS version bumps to their phones.

The fact that they got the build rolling out in September is likely Treble at work here. This is much faster than Oreo and Nougat.

Then again, this is the company that never gave the OnePlus 2 a Nougat update despite reps promising that.

The Communicator (Apple iPhone 13 Pro)
