Guide/Tutorial for building and setting up a streaming pc?

Baurblades43

I'm looking into turning my server computer I have into a server/streaming pc. I've got a i7 2600k in there and I just run a voice server in there right now.

I'm wondering if their are any guides or tutorials out there on how to set everything up with the streaming pc, and my gaming pc. Along with configuring OBS/X-Split.

You do have to spend some money on this. You actually need a recording device like Hauppauge HDPVR.

CPU:

Intel Core i5 2500k - Motherboard: Asus maximus iv gene-z - RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance Blue 4GB DDR3-1600 CL9 - GPU: ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II

Mouse: Razer Deathadder 2013 - Sound: Razer Characias

Yes I'm aware of that. I was looking at the AverMedia Live Gamer HD since that seems to be a very popular one.

It's actually very easy to setup if you have the capture device. You plug the capture device in your streaming pc and use the output of your gaming pc. And then just input source in OBS.
