update my bios to new version is it worth??

hi i want to overclock my  asus  z87 deluxe  but i have one  question

 

do i have  to  update  the  bios  into new  update  bios?? for overlocking?>?

 

what is the  difference between  the old  bios  version and the new version  for  bios??

New BIOS will have some improvements to things like bug fixes, and system improvements, but not a big deal. It is not required for overclocking, and I hope you can find a good video online to see how to overclock.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

 

The only time you'd need to update BIOS is if your future CPU needs a BIOS update first; For example, an X370 motherboard might need a BIOS update first before it can run a Ryzen 5 2600X.
