SSD doesnt show up

The SSD didn't come formatted. You already got to disk management; once you're there, just right click on the disk and hit create new volume or partition or whatever it tells you.

Hey guys,

I installed my Samsung 860EVO today but it doesnt show up in the explorer. Its the first time Ive dont something like that so I have no idea what a couldve done wrong. I pluged the sata cable into the sata4 port in my mainboard and its connected to the powersupply aswell. Speccy actually tracks so I guess I have done it correctly? :S  I looked it up in the disk management aswell (screenshot below) and it says that 465GB are not assigned (the SSD is 500GB version) so I guess I missed something there?

Sorry again if that is a dumb question but I dont know what to do :$

No problem! Just remember that usually when you buy new SSDs they don't come formatted so most of the time you need to format it yourself :)
