Should I replace my PSU?

Hi, i first had my PC assembled 6 years ago, over the years i have upgraded my PC but one thing have not changed since then which is my PSU: Corsair AX750. Its warranty last for 7 years which means its ending next year and i'm wondering is it time for me to replace the PSU even though its still working perfectly fine? Thank you

I wouldn't personally worry about replacing the PSU just to have a warranty. If the PSU is working perfectly fine, no reason to get rid of it.

I don't see a point in replacing it since it was a pretty damn good unit in its day, and it obviously still works just fine.

Will it be efficient like todays 750W PSU's - no, is it a problem to use it - hell no if it's working as intended.

that's why you buy high end units like that, not to have to replace it in a long time ?

 

 

 

so IT'S NOT NEEDED, not with a psu like that one. If you want something quieter or more efficient you can go buy a new one but again that one will do just fine.
