Help with Bitlord/malware

So I very stupidly downloaded Bitlord (yes yes lol, laugh it up) and I immediately regret it. It downloaded a bunch of programs Wintonic and a few others that I can now see on my desktop. Changed my browser start page, toolbar, and a noticeable slowdown in my system. God knows what else on top of this. What do I do now? I uninstalled Bitlord itself but I feel like this is only the beginning. How do I know what damage this has even caused? Running Windows 10 for reference

Install it again, but now take notice of every screen in the setup process.

For every extra software, you need to click to accept before installing it, therefore it must 'list' all the bloat while installing it. This time just don't accept the installation of the extra software, hit decline or don't tick a box.

With this list you can then uninstall all the bloat by hand.

Use AdwCleaner and then Autoruns. If both doesn't help, you can try SpyHunter (has very bad reputation, normally I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but in fact can detect lot of ugly stuff), then manually remove all registry keys and files it find. It requires some experience, so if you don't know how to do it - it may be hard or even impossible.

 

There is also another question - why do not use AV software for that? On this forum many people talk about AV, which one is the best, how great is xxxyyyzzz AV etc. So it should be perfect test - install some great AV that people recommend and let him disinfect your system. Personally I don't believe it works, but hey - I'm person who don't like AV software, since 99% believes it works.
