How did you manage to assign a drive letter to the recovery partition?

Either way pretty sure that's your problem.

Will look for a fix.

Start > run > command prompt admin

type diskpart

type remove letter=d

Follow the prompted information you are getting.

If you type help in diskpart it will list available commands.

Basically you want to list the disks then select the right one.

eg

list volumes

select volume 0
