laptop for video editing

on mac you get access to final cut pro. which is pretty neat for a multitude of reasons. 

 

on windows you get more for less, you also get a touch display to work with depending on the laptop. 

 

edit: cost plays a good bit in what you are going to choose

The benefits will really come from what you're used too. If you've worked more with a Mac for editing, go for Mac and vise versa. 

 

I have little experience in video editing, only when done at university so someone feel free to correct me. But it's really a 6 and 2/3s situation.
