HDD deosnt show up in bios

Hi, today i put a new HDD into my pc but it doesn't show up in bios, the only thing is, it shows up in disk management. Is this normal?

Did you format it yet? Create a new volume and then check the bios

Depends on the bios but some will show HDD boot order seperate to overall boot order.

What board do you have?

Bios doesn't look at formating/ partitioning it should show without needing to do this.

I've seen intel boards that show HDD boot order seperate to the main boot order, so it might be worth checking your bios again.
