intel optane

Hi, I just got a 16gb optane m.2 drive to accelerate my 4tb hard drive that I put games on. I already have a 120gb m.2 for windows. Does anyone know how to set it up? I downloaded Intel optane memory software and it says unsupported bios mode. I just updated to the latest bios and my motherboard supports optane. Anyone know a solution?

what processor do you got?

Did you enable intel rst in the bios?

When I do this I can’t boot to my m.2 ssd with windows on it. The only drives that show up is the intel optane

I think You need to install with this on.

 

Can you return the optane? Id return the drive and get a nand ssd for caching.

 if you are, all I would need to do is reinstall windows 10 with rst enabled?

nvm, my friend said I can use his old 120gb ssd for the cache. Do you know a program that would let me do this?

storage spaces has ssd tiering you can use, there is primocache aswell.
