Viewing saved WiFi passwords on any version of Windows using cmd.

Hey there!

Ever wondered how you can view saved WiFi password on your Windows PC?

Well, its a fairly simple process. Today, I shall guide you through the process!

First, you open up your command prompt. There are various ways of doing so. The easiest way is to open up RUN and type in cmd and hit enter.(You can open run by simultaneously pressing Windows and R keys in your keyboard).

Then, type the following command:

netsh wlan show profiles

This shows up all your saved WiFi(s). Then, type in the following command:

netsh wlan show profiles "WiFi name" key=clear

Now, you will see the WiFi password after "Security Key:"

For more info, tips and a brief explanation on the commands used, kindly refer to the following YouTube video:

Thank You for your time :)

And you can do it far quicker and even easier by going into Network and Sharing Center and then Manage Wireless Networks. The more you know. ;)
