windows removing Tile view on start.

Okay I think I am probably just being dumb here but I cant find where to change a certain setting. 

 

I have just reinstalled Windows on my home PC and went through the whole ordeal of removing all the stupid suggested apps and tiles Microsoft insists on cluttering up your interface with. Now I have my start menu looking as it should but each time I press start it has decided it will still default to the dumb tile view instead of the apps/programs that I want to see. For some reason I cannot find how to change this and Google/Youtube searching hasn't produced any results for me.

 

Does anyone happen to know how to change this? Thank you in advanced.

It's in the windows settings start menu section, or just right click the start menu and go to settings.

Hi

 

You have to unpin every tile from the start menu. Once all are remove you should see nothing but the apps

 

Go Start

Mouse over a tile

Right click and --unpin from start --

Enderman- I have been searching for a while, swear its not there. There's an image of my start settings attached.

Not sure I follow . But there is and option if you want to only show the apps by icon,

 

After removing the tiles , go to -- setting --personalization-- start--Show app list in start menu --

Yeah i just figured this out and was about to close the thread. I was being pretty dumb, shouldn't do these things without sleep. Sorry and thank you for the help
