Hello so recently I restarted my computer after it restarted, it shut down and it wouldn't post. I would start it up and all the fans would spin and stuff and it just wouldn't go into the BIOS. The fans would continue to spin until I turn off the computer. I would get a debug code on my LED saying "00". Very rarely it would change to 04, then 06, and the back to 00. I have cleared the CMOS, tried changing my RAM, tried different slots, tried reseating my CPU, tried using 1 RAM stick, still didn't work, checked to see if any pins were bent and I've tried changing my BIOS. Still didn't work. After trying all this stuff I went ahead and breadboarded my motherboard and I still had the same posting issues. I talked to a couple of friends and looked at a lot of forums and most stated it was either the CPU or motherboard. I went ahead and purchased another motherboard thinking it would fix my posting issue however my computer refuses to post and with this new motherboard, the computer turns on for a couple of seconds and then turns off with all the fans spinning just like the other motherboard. Also on this motherboard, the debug LED doesn't say anything and it doesn't light up like it should. I've run out of ideas on what to do however, I think I came up with a resonable conclusion which is that it's either my CPU or my power supply which is causing this. I am unsure of which one it is

Interesting things to keep in mind

Something to note before this happened is that the day before when it was working, my CPU would go to 1.19 GHZ for no reason. I would check the temperatures and they were the same as always been, usually below 60. It was overclocked to 4GHZ and I've had it like that for nearly 2 years now with no issues until now. I've tried booting without RAM and a graphics card and I would still get the debug code 00 on my old motherboard. I have also tried to see if my CPU heats up when the computer powers on but it definitely doesn't feel like it heats up which could be a CPU issue?

The only thing I haven't tried is using a speaker to see if I get any beeps, I am purchasing a speaker today (as none of the motherboards came with one) and I'l see if I get any beeps

My PC specs are
CPU: I7 5820K

Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 1060 3GB,

Motherboards: Old motherboard is MSI x99s gaming 9 ac and the new motherboard is Gigabyte GA-X99-Soc Champion

RAM: Vengeance ddr4 ram

60c at idle? thats not good. You probably burned your cpu with high temps. RIP i7

If the CPU isn't getting warm and you tried a different motherboard it's a sign the CPU might be dead. Assuming the PSU is getting power to it correctly.
