Cooler for the i5-8600k

Go to solution Solved by mikedrewsmy,

I'd go with the Arctic i32 instead of the Freezer 12/13

But if you can save some more money, get the Noctua NH-D15S or BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro

Hello, my build is almost complete, missing a cpu fan for the i5 8600k, my budet for it 60$ more or less, any suggestions?

Where are u from?  Would be easier to help u if u could tell us your location.

Full specs list would also help because some coolers might not fit your case, board or memory profile.

I had the Freezer 13 on mine, it was good for stock and a slight overclock, but I need something beefier to get above 4.7Ghz without hitting thermal throttling.

Personally I'm saving up for the Noctua NH-D15S. (I need the S for my ITX case, the normal edition is fine for most people)

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7
