Is my first Mini ITX build reasonable?

I´m new to pc-building and wanted to build a mid-range gaming pc. Is this build reasonable?
I invested a few days of research but it would be awesome if someone with more experiance could judge my build.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (AM4, 3.40GHz, Unlocked)

MSI B350I Pro AC

ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL O6G

Thermaltake Gaming PCI-E 3.0 X16 Riser Cable

Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x, 8GB, DDR4-3000, DIMM 288)

Crucial SSD MX500 500GB, M.2 2280, SATA3 (500GB, M.2 2280)

Noctua Kühler Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 (3.70cm)

for a new "builder" really not suggest a mini ITX size.

you need to do plenty research make sure each parts fits, nightmare in cooling & cable management, will not look neat. no room for errors ...etc...

sfx / itx parts are most expensive, m-atx is a sweet spot

note that you picked a sata ssd for your m.2 slot

Budget and country so that we can suggest something better :D

You got 2600 but why not get a motherboard with precision boost?

thanks.

- I m going for mini ITX because I need a small PC. This build is quite similar and fits, so I hope mine would as well, donßt you think so?

- I went for the m.2 slot because of the space-requirements. Would something like this improve performance significantly?

Not sure if your budget of 1300 is inclusive of display or just the rig.

Total is 1090 francs including international delivery.
I'm sure u can get it cheaper if you purchase it from the stores in Switzerland.

wow. Thanks:)
Are you shure that it will fit into this case(with the stock cooler and GPU mounted directly on the motherboard)?
Could I also go for the case I chose(with a riser cable for the GPU)? I want something without "bells and whistles (aka glass and led)"

The stock cooler would fit. That case is for MATX but still it looks nice enough for an ITX.

On second thought, if you don't mind about it's dimensions (398mm x 276mm x 351mm)
Why not go for mATX ?

This is what I found in a local shop(You ordered two cpu´s)...the case specs say that a full sized card fits(up to 300mm)... so a 6gb 1060 could make more sense right?

Thanks a lot for your help*

Since you're cool with the size of the case, why not get a MicroATX board instead of MiniITX?
Yeah 1060 6GB would be better :D

I would prefere the kolink rocket...but I also like everything fitting in the case. You think I could fit your proposed build in the small case(with riser cable and the small noctua cooler)?

With the corsair 280x, there's really no reason to stay with miniITX, right? Components would stay the same right?

Yup.

I suggest you just go ahead with the 280x and go ahead with MicroATX.

It's small enough but at the same time has the ability to be upgraded in the future.

Extra 2 slots for Ram, extra PCI-E if u ever want to run SLI.

Yeah, probably a good idea. Just to make sure: you're talking about the msi b450m gaming plus and the other components would stay the same right...

Highlights include a better GPU (GTX 1070), Sweet-ASS RAM (i love my vengeance rgb pro) and of course the better performing 2600X.
You can omit the RAM and save some more if you want but im loving my vengeance rgb pro and recommending it to others.

On the 1100 build, you can change the itx board to matx and save further. Use the same one as the one i chose on the 1300 build.

yeah. Would do!
you think the performence increase is worth the 200 bucks? How's the upgradability from both?

Well 2600X and 2600 is basically the same with almost the same overclocking capability but idk why i leaned more towards 2600X  :P
Maybe because of the 30 francs difference.
I like the heatshield & RGB on the Vengeance RGB Pro.

1070 is for sure better than 1060.
