The 8700k. Also, what monitor are you planning on using it on?

 

If it's an older 1080p 60Hz monitor, then both are overkill. The 1080 and an 8700k scream for a monitor upgrade...otherwise it's like using a nuclear power plant to charge your phone.

 

I've used that analogy before...sadface.

8700K will be better for gaming. Best gaming CPU on the market, currently.

 

If you're not going to overclock, don't spend the money on a K model.
