NVME Swap

greyfullbuster61

I have been planning on getting a new nvme with more storage, and I only have one m.2 slot, how can i go about upgrading to a better nvme? I would prefer to not have to start from scratch and do system restore, is there any other way?

USB 3.0 to M.2 keyed slot will allow you to clone the drive.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

You could also use a PCI M.2 adapter to mount the new M.2 drive and clone to it, then swap them out. These adapters are like $20-30, and then you can also use the old M.2 drive if you want - just leave the adapter installed and pop the old drive into it.

Not many people use the PCI slots, so if you are one of those people, this could be a win-win.
