Need help to choose laptop in favor to Macbook pro

Hi!
Our youngest kid, a girl at age 15 just got $2.000USD from her grandma to burn on a laptop.
She wants to buy a macbook pro, but she have given me until tomorrow to find her an alternative laptop wich gives her more bang for the bucks. If I cant give her something else than the macbook pro so be it..

But I'm not that into pc-picking at the time, at least laptop-specs.
So I was hoping some of you could help me with this issue and as you can tell this has a timeframe around 20 hours before we're placing an order..

The main reason I want her to pick a pc is that if she needs any help, then I might help her out with programs running on windows, but if she gets a mac, I'm out.. Maybe I would be able to help her if I wanted, but I've made a statement years ago, I'm not giving any help on apple products..

Here's the list of specs(in no particular order):
It need to look good! Meaning she wants no plastic look and no beefy gamer laptop.
About 13" screen size.

No touch or 2-in-1.
At least the same specs as the macbook pro I linked - https://www.komplett.no/product/925008/pc-nettbrett/pc-baerbar-laptop/ultraportable/apple-macbook-pro-13-retina-silver#

We're living in Norway, so the price-comparision-site is www.prisjakt.no and the highest amount of money measured in NOK is about 13.000,-
The most popular stores in norway are these ones:
www.komplett.no
www.proshop.no
www.elkjop.no
www.netonnet.no

I know I'm asking for much, but I would be very happy if there was some tips in here when I wake up tomorrow.

Cheers!
-the Stig Arne-

I would see if the school she is going into has a preference. The school may prefer apple for some programs. Also if it's the same over there students can get discounts sometimes.

The majority of the thin and light 13" are going to be touchscreen/ 2 in 1.

Only get MBP if you really need macOS. Not to mention that the linked MBP is outdated

Could you list out all 13 inch laptops in your country with 8250U/8550U CPU that's within the budget?

GeneXiS_X:
How come the UX391 comes with different configurations? I was checking the best price and did scroll through the specs and I found that one site sells it with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD, while another store sells it with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD

It's normal

I would get the 16GB model since the RAM is soldered. Keep in mind that it doesn't have any USB A ports and the CPU performance is limited due to the thin chassis
