Air Conditioned Air Cooling

3 minutes ago, Assembly said:

Are there are videos of sealed air-cooled PC cases using a portable air conditioner for air intake/exhaust?

Using an air conditioner like that is dangerous. As air below the ambient temperature (like exhaust from a portable A/C) warms to meet the ambient temp, it condenses. One of the byproducts of condensing is, of course, condensation--water. Water inside your PC = bad.

Phase change coolers are an entirely different ballgame, if that's what you're talking about.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Thank you for the JayZ video. Seems nice. You can always remove water using the AC condenser.  And as such seems quite effective to be honest. If you have proper insulation, then you might be able to use much smaller air coolers and hence get much more efficient cooling. Especially in areas with high ambient temperature and no air conditioned rooms.
