Thanks for the help!

That depends, do you plan to upgrade them?

I don't think he has plans to perform any major upgrades on them at the moment. At least, not immediately after he potentially gets one.

I think the first one has better value.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Second one has better processor, is a full sized case if you want to upgrade GPU in the future, and 8x the RAM.  Much better value. if you wanted to get the first one to those specs it would cost much more than the ~30 price difference.

Understandable. What's your reasoning?

The socket supports more consumer CPUs (from what I can tell) and small form factor is pretty useful for desk real estate. Both have quad core CPUs so there won't be much performance difference.

It's a close call, but according to my research the i5 2400 is faster.

Ok, do note he will certainly want more than 1GB of RAM, so that should be factored into the prices.

I would get something like this, or 4 gb. easy to find.

Not sure why it has 32 bit windows installed, but you should make a windows install disk and put 64 bit on there instead. easy and free.
