Hey guys, i got a mate thats just constantly blue screening, if he opens up eg Monster Hunter: World then itll blue screen before he hits the menu or if he goes on chrome and opens multiple tabs itll blue screen 5min later (approx)

 

Specs:

i7 7700k

Asus b250i gaming mini itx

Corsair 16gb (2x8gb) @ 2400mhz

Does it happen in other games as well?

 

Does he have sufficient airflow around the socket? (because those little boards aren't meant for the high end i7 K parts, VRM wise).

Try running with only one stick of ram and see one of them is the culprit.

You could also do a check with memtest86+ but its quite a long test.

yep i got him to use 1 8gb stick and switch them around, still the same problem, i havent gotten him to memtest yet, i doubt his pc will hold before finishing the test, crashes really quickly

im not too sure on what other games, but as off now he cant get into MHworld, it barely even makes it into the menu
