So the Mongrel Mob seemingly have opened up a chapter in Montreal with around 17 members. Pretty small but its pretty far from New Zealand, where the chapter is based. The Mob is known for methanphetamine trafficking and giving back to the community. It's quite a mixed bag but generally they are quite lovely. Most likely looking for another branch to network. 

 

So the reason why I bring this up is that there is an increase in gangs spreading across countries. We've had a few Australian gangs like Bandidos and Comancheros come over our way into NZ. Being that gangs are a large influence here in NZ, what are your stories or thoughts on them, seemingly as they become more and more prominent?

Some gangs are there because they want the brotherhood, and some gangs are there because they watched Sons of Anarchy one too many times.

It's hard to say whether it does more harm than good; if they were selling weed IMO it'd be a net good but here it's hard to say
