Thanks, also I thought there were only going to be 2070s and 2080s lol, but yeah ill keep it in mind, though it will cost a lot more than the others I assume. But currently what graphics card would you most recommend for my budget (excluding the price of the I3)

I personally prefer a Intel build because of performance in games.

Okay, so I'm looking to upgrade my pc's graphics card and the cpu. Currently I have an i3 7100, gtx 1050ti, 8gb ram, 1tb hdd and 500w power supply. I'm looking to get my pc vs ready with a budget of £400. I will be getting the upgrade after Christmas when the prices have dropped after the rtx cards. I was considering a 1060 6gb mini currently but if I weather to get a 1070. Also if I what core I'd need to get but I was looking at the core i3 8100 as I found that's a good one for 1060s but I'm not fully sure, would really be happy if somebody could help me here :D

i3 8100 would be okay for a 1070 and 1060, though I would invest in the GTX 2060 when it's releases.

1060 is probably the best option, unless your gonna play at like 4k or something which i assume you're not going to. What games/graphics settings and fps target are you looking for?

well I'm looking for at least a steady 90fps and above in most vr games , basically capable of a great vr experience, and also to be hitting above 60fps on full in basically all games on full settings. :D

Oh, I see I checked the part picker, thank you for this info I had no clue lol.

Does installing a new motherboard requires using BIOS stuff or just plugging the stuff in the same place lol (sorry I haven't built a pc before and I have no clue lol)

Ik how to install a graphics card and the core tho :)

Would be very happy if you could help or link something which already explains this lol

Thank you :D

Watch video guides, it's very easy. Get a magnetic screwdriver though and ground yourself
