Gtx 1070ti Display port no signal

Hey guys,

So I got G2460PF AOC monitor 144 hz, i used to have DVI on it was running perfectly with it, i bought display port cable today and when i plugged it in it says no signal, tried both Display port inputs on Graphics card , and even on motherboard but still nothing , I have asus maximus IX hero Motherboard,

P.S They tested display port and it is working fine .

Are your drivers up to date?

What are these for?

Assuming the cable is seated correctly both ends, change the source on the monitor.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

Yep they are, cables are seated correctly aswell, idk about monitor firmware update

Having this same issuse please help goes in no display have 30 mins its driving me insane!!!!

Ryzen 2700X

Asus Prime X470-Pro

Nvidia GTX 1070TI Founders

16Gb Team Force Delta ram

EVGA 750w 80+ Gold

Ive rewired the entire computer and tried everything i can think of please help me

Sounds like you have your drivers installed, so what it sounds like to me is either

 

A) Its the cable thats a dud

B) Something is wrong with the ports on the 1070Ti

C) Something is wrong with the port on the monitor

 

Buy a new cable first, that'll help rule out B and C.
