Not entirely true - you can get a group regulated PSU to be Haswell compliant, BeQuiet System Power L8 for example will not shut down nor go out of spec (though it's pushing it).

System Power 8 or the ancient Pure Power L8 :P

System Power had the S Letter before they got rid of it with the 7 I think.

Pure Power was L up until 8...

Straight Power was E.

And Dark Power Pro Was P. Because they used Topower Names with their PSU...

So with the early be quiet (Blackline and Colorline the last ones were with BLUE LED Fans), they just took the name of the Manufacturer and put their name before it...

Blame Marketing for that (they got rid of the Letters)...

You offer zero evidence and the advice you give is poor. I think he's justified in his rant. If you want to give bad advice to people buying stuff, go work in car sales for Fiat-Chrysler. Stefan and seon actually know what they're talking about here. If you kept yourself even remotely up to date with the market of PSUs, you'd realize we ditched the old CX series when Obama was still US president.

I was giving advise based on my experience as I am using on my System the M12II and is operating without a fault. I am not stating that my advise is the best out of the others I just didn't liked how others triggered over such thing. If the comments were nice enough the outcome would be different. GJ in doing the tier list. *P.S. I'm not fighting with no one, I may try sell you a car *
