Samsung Gear 2 Classic in 2018?

I want a new smartwatch, but unfortunately my tiny wrist and low budget makes most smartwatches like the Samsung Gear 3 not a great fit for me. However, I've been looking at the Samsung Gear 2 Classic and I really like the look and the price. Most reviews state that Titus OS is great, but lacked any good apps. Is this still true? Is it still worth grabbing in 2018 for $250 CAD? Can I control my spotify music? Is it still good for reading short texts, emails and notifications?
