Skyrim unless you like a ton of people yelling "RDMER!" in Trouble in Terrorist town. Skyrim you can explore aimlessly while being chased by a dragon killing poor villagers. Also the workshop for Skyrim is extraordinary, plenty of mods to toy around with.

Go with skyrim and mod it like crazy! You would be suprised what your 770 can handle. I have over 150 mods installed and mine still keeps right at 45-50 fps( most are graphical mods)

you can do both for like $10? lol

However I'd say skyrim, you can get gmod another time since it's cheaper.

I've been playing Garry's Mod since 2005 and am yet to be bored of it, there's just so much more to do compared to Skyrim.

it's really weird cuz when i look at other forums some people say they got bored instantly, that the game is boring to play alone, some played it for hundreds of hours. hmmm

Well there's technically an infinite amount of game modes such as: TTT, RP, Murder, Hide n' Seek, Prop Hunt, Gmod Tower, etc that can come out. Some of these have been around for years, some only recently made within the past year or two. Unfortunately you will need Counter Strike: Source and probably Half Life 2(episodes as well) to play most of these because these game modes require textures and weapons from those games.

Skyrim there's an ever expanding amount of mods and it looks like it won't be slowing down until the next Elder Scrolls game(Fallout could come out and both can coexist easily as both are completely different themes and playstyles).

Personally, unless you have Counter Strike: Source and Half Life already, I would just pick up Skyrim.
