I recently bought a new pc and I just wanted to know if I am likely to get potential bottle-necking due to the cpu?

I didn't go for the 8600k due to budget as it would have required a better motherboard and cooling. I did get the MSI gtx 1080 gaming X.

This is what I ended up getting. Am I likely to see issues somewhere and if so, where?

MSI H310M Pro M2 Motherboard

1be quiet! Pure Power 10 600W Power Supply

1Corsair Carbide 270R Case with Window

1Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM010

1Western Digital Green PC M.2 2280 SSD 240GB

1Team T-Force Dark 3000MHz 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Grey Black

1MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X 8GB

1Intel Core i5 8600

No bottleneck in performance,

but that mobo is a bottleneck in upgrade sense, because only 2 dimm slots, no vrm cooling, only 2 fan headers total etc.

I have no idea what any of that means lol. I know that the motherboard isn't the best however I figured it's a easy upgrade later on if needed.

Not neccesarilly, because some windows licences are tied to the motherboard, that means if you change the motherboard you have to buy a new licence, or at the very least have to sit on the phone with the windows representive, who will reactive your windows.

If you can just get a msi z370/b360 motherboard, for more connectivity and less trouble in the future.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Yeah I wanted to get a better motherboard however had to decide between that and the gpu as  good msi z370 is around $120 more expensive than what I got.

Unfortunately my copy of Windows is tied to the motherboard (again to save costs) however there's a way to get it moved/downloaded?

If you bought the licence from g2a or someother shady place then probably no, because if you get on the phone with microsoft they can tell that it is not a valid licence.

If you bought an official oem licence then maybe.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Yes I bought the official oem licence when they built the PC.
