2950x motherboard compatibility

Hey,

I need help finding some motherboards compatible with the thread ripper 2950x without a bios update.

There is no compatibility list or compile motherboard I can find

I really like this motherboard but I don't know if it will work

all you have to do to find compatibility (and this is literally what we're going to do) is google the make/model motherboard , go to the manufacturers spec page and look under the bios updates or cpu compatibility chart and it will say what bios version support which cpu. No need to allocate the task to us the information is readily available if you need it for whatever boards you're looking at.

No, you'll need a bios update on that one, I am pretty sure.

I can only see two motherboards that are currently compatible right out of the box:

That's the issue I'm running into, all of them doesn't really say. It's such a new processor so I'm not sure if its updated or not.

Oops, didn't read the model. The one you linked isn't compatible because it's an old refurbished one. You have to buy a new one for it to be compatible. Also, all MSI sTR4 boards are compatible out of the box now.
