i doubt web development and music production actually uses that much ram, 16gb is enough.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

a few questions regarding the web dev and music production, do the programs you use benefit from more cores or from higher clock speed?

also do these programs need so much RAM or is there another reason you are getting 32GB?

incase your programs support many processor cores it may be worth it to go for a ryzen 2700x instead.

If you are not going to overclock I'd suggest an i7-8700 with an H370 motherboard. The i7-8700 turbo clocks are just 100MHz lower than those of the i7-8700K.

May as well get a motherboard with WiFi.

The H440 case has a reputation for poor airflow. Consider something like the Meshify C TG instead.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

You are right...Perhaps I just wanted to ensure a fast PC and future comparability with games. My brother was using 18gb the other day, but he likely had lots of virtual instruments and other programs opens

To be honest FLStudio and Sonar should not take too much RAM, and web dev requires little. I will likely half the ram and get more down the road if I really need it.

Hmmm, I will look into the 8700. This is also not the first time I have heard about airflow issues on that case. I will check out the meshify which my friend also suggested. On motherboard wifi would be nice.

That wireless adapter gets pretty good reviews. Thanks for the build out! I will look at these parts.
