PG348Q vs X34P

Hi guys

 

Im going to be building a computer around Christmas time and I am deciding on a monitor. I've narrowed it down to the PG348Q by Asus or the X34P by Acer. Im going to be playing games like Forza Horizon 3 & 4, Motorsport 7, CSGO, and browsing the internet. 

 

Which one should I get and why? Where I live the X34P ($1499AUD) is $200AUD more than the PG348Q ($1299AUD)  and the Alienware AW3418DW is out of the ring because it costs over $2000 and doesn't have FRC.

Im looking for great image quality and contrast (for playing Horizon 4) and I have heard that the new panels that is in the X34P has worse contrast and colours vs the old ones that are found in the PG348Q and the original X34. Im also looking for good warranty which Asus does (apparently Acer's warranty is sh!t and 3-5 dead/stuck pixels is a cosmetic thing and they won't do anything about it.)

Is the colour and contrast difference noticeable? Would it be worth $200AUD more for 20Hz?
