hd 6970 recording relive?

I have a hd 6970 but from what i found it cannot use amd relive. Is this true if not what other recording program would be recommended (load on the gpu ! cpu is rather weak).

The 6970 does not have VCE, the Video Coding Engine that AMD introduced with the 7000 series, for hardware accelerated recording/streaming.

 

So you'll have to do it in software (on the CPU) with a program like OBS.

soo there is no way to offload the recording load on the gpu?

Nope. The 6970 simply does not have the hardware for video encoding.
