Budget pc upgrade

Currently i have i5 6400 asus H110M-K mobo 8 gb ddr4 2100hz ram (single stick) gtx 1050ti and 1tb hdd in a micro atx case
after working for half of the summer im going to get an upgrade and im thinking to go for i5 8700k and m.2 ssd gonna upgrade that gpu next summer would appreciate if someone could help me with a decent mobo and do i need to get some faster ram as i use it up quite esily or just add another 8 gb

your CPU is allready decent. all you need is a better GPU. i am assuming you have about 500$ to spend. id recommend getting something like an gtx 1070ti

Add another stick of 8gb, you don't need faster ram. Make sure to get at least a 256gb ssd, because they are cheap anyways and you don't have to worry about storing programs as much.

MSI Z370-A PRO seems like a decent mobo if you don't need the RGB.

But like @GoldenLag said, your CPU is still decent.

If you are looking for a good upgrade if you game then try to upgrade to a 1060ti or 1070ti.(or higher if you got the money)

what are you playing and at what rez that requires 30% of a 1050ti?!?

thats tera online im playing at 1080p its cpu heavy cuz badly optimized can only use 2 cores or smth like that this is 1080p bf1 on all low settings

you can get this for a more balanced upgrade. an 8700k now would be silly. also if you buy this you would have to sell your excisting RAM. and tera is gonna be as unoptimized as ever.

i have like 500€ i  can sell my mobo + cpu for like 150 more and i want 8700k cuz i m looking to buy like a 2070 when all the hype goes down and benchmarks are here if its worth im gonna get it if not i could afford like a 1070 or 1070ti like next summer prolly thats why i want a way over board cpu now
