Recently about a week ago I built a pc, and everything was working fine however I realised that my gpu wasn't recognised on the monitor so I went into my pc and plugged and unplugged cables. However now  when I try to turn it on it doesn't work. I think it is because I didn't connect the power supply to wall socket cable very well to the psu. I can wiggle it up and down and side to side a little bit. I don't know what to do, I'm very new to building pcs. Do I need to buy a new psu?

Edit : NEVERMIND I just forgot to replug the front panel connectors

Edit 2 : Thank you so much for the replies, sorry for wasting your time :)

The crackling sound is normal with a kettle lead. You should have the cable switched off at the wall before you plug it in.

You need to connect your motherboards on board video output (look for HDMI or VGA outputs along with the rest of them) to your monitor and see if you can get back into Windows OK.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...
