minimal itx pc used as eGPU

I have a mini itx board and case. The board I have has a thunderbolt 3 connection, I also have a 1060 6gb laying around. This idea came to me as a result of my most recent purchase, a razer blade stealth, I tried other gaming laptops but realized my wants were more of an ultra-book and the pc I built for actual gaming. But when trying out those other gaming laptops, I liked having something for casual gaming, I have looked into eGPU enclosures, they are just asking too much. Has anyone heard of using a desktop as a eGPU for a laptop? I think it would be amazing for this to become more standard because then you can have a hdd with a steam library that will be in that pc, access to more ram, a gpu, Ethernet, all at the convenience of a type c plug to a small "computer" sitting at your desk.

You can try steam in-home streaming. So you have the games run on your PC, and it streams to your laptop.(over ethernet or wifi)

If you are looking for a PC with a GPU thunderbolt output, then no, that doesn't exist.

You already have most of a system. I'd just spend a little money on a CPU and HDD and build a proper rig. Save the lifespan of your ultrabook.
