I want to build a new server for file storing, plex, etc. Im trying to figure out a case and power solution.

Here are my parts I have picked out so far.

CPU: Xeon E5 2650

Mobo: HP Z620 LGA2011 Motherboard

Ram: 16GB Hynix ECC

I want to put the motherboard in a normal ATX case, can i do that?

Also, I want to put in a regular 500-600W consumer PSU, can i do that?

Thanks

Specs:

 Gaming PC: i5 3570, 16GB 1600MHz, GTX 780 3GB, Transcend 128GB, WD 500GB, Seagate 500GB, Thermaltake 600W Smart, S340 w/ RGB, Windows 10 Pro

 Server: Xeon E5 2650, 12GB 1600MHz ECC, 8400GS, WD 2TB + 1TB + 1TB, EVGA 500B 500W, Windows 10 Pro

 Laptop: Macbook Pro Retina 2013, i7 4558U, 8GB 1600MHz, Intel Iris Pro 1.5GB, Apple 256GB NVME, Mojave

 Internet: $70/month For 500/100, Actually get 525/102

Yes, i didnt know if the holes would like up since some server mobos are stupid sometimes.

Could u please take photos of the 24 pin power connector and also the 8 pin EPS ?
These could be the only problem because some mobos use proprietary connectors.

It does apparently have at least most of the proper hole alignment though some holes seem to be missing for standard ATX. Should be OK.

PSU is entirely up to you. You can use a consumer one but make sure it's a good one.

Now that you mention that. Count the pins on the "24" pin connector. It's only 9 across. It's not even a 20 pin, it's 18.

Yeah, googled around saw that it's 18.

So he can use this adapter cable instead to connect it with normal PSUs
