fullscreen can give you access to more settings like brightness but windowed borderless lets you tab in and out without needing to deal with the black flicker bullshit and you can have windows ontop of windowed borderless where as with fullscreen the game disapears as soon as you tab out.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I would say 1% lower frames at most 2%. I'm playing BDO and Destiny 2 and some other demanding games like heavy modded Arma 3 or Squad and I see 1FPS different if any at all.

Adding to everything else is that in Fullscreen mode the game runs in your highest refresh rate *for example 144hz* , while in borderless is only limited to 60

No it doesn't. Borderless fullscreen will use whatever you've set your desktop to.

I don't think I've noticed any drops in framerate.  I perfer borderless windowed where I can so I can use my side screens without minimizing or alt tabbing out of my game.
