Do you need a copy of Windows or any peripherals included?

if your budget is $500 it's useless going intel because a good i5 is  $250 which is half. I say fx 8320 $160 + Radeon HD 7770 $110

OR my preference is fx 8350 $190 + Radeon HD 7850 $200

Have fun shopping. Good rRAM is around 8gb for $90

PSU anything over 500w with an efficiency of 80+ bronze up

Motherboard. GEt a 990fx board which is $110 :') the rest is up to you.

Make a small build could be crappy. I'm sure the forum would be glad to help you

I'd just add, he can easily boost the 8320 to 8350 stock clocks with the standard heatsink. Also, maybe explore some r9 series options. As far as I can tell they're relatively unaffected by the price increases. But yea, what you said.

8320 @ 4.3ghz l Gigabyte 970a Ud3 l Hyper 212 Evo l R9 290 l 8gb RAM 1866 Vengeance l 1tb WD Black l 120gb Samsung Evo SSD l HX750 Gold PSU l 500d Arctic Case l Windows 8 OS l K65 and Blackwidow Keyboard l M65 and DeathAdder 2013 l Qck Steelseries l 24in Vizio Monitor 1080p

I've said this many times. You can overclock a 8320 similar to an 8350. But you can oc an 8350 to be something totally different. :')

Also, I've worked with the stock heatsink on the 8320, any temps above 45 degress is noise :') Highly recommend getting an aftermarket cooler such as the evo 212 in the future

It came up to $810 m8 D:

I honestly think you should get the fx 6300 if you want perf.

Qaud cores are soon to be dinosaurs in the upcoming games in 2014 as they would be multi-core processing demanding.

When you said a whole pc... you meant it....

Everything looks super! Drop the cooler and get the 6300, you can buy an aftermarket cooler after :') it's worth it trust me
