Gaming CPU needed

Hi!

I am looking for a CPU and a motherboard for ~280$ i think R5 1600 and an Asus Prime X370-pro is a good choice ( since i can OC it pretty heavily ) but i am open to any suggestions from the Intel side...

what games will you be playing? will you be just gaming? or streaming? or video editing?

Mostly Gaming ( CS:GO, witcher 3, Far Cry 5, AC Origins, Battlefield 1... ) but sometimes ( pretty rarely ) i edit 10min videos. I think i should go with a 6core CPU because i am planning to stream some games on twich...

Get a used 1700 + motherboard.

im running a R1600 and an Asrock B350M-itx/ac mobo. that could cut down your price if you get a b350 mobo

 

i did stream awhile back, but not i just edit some videos for friends sometimes, but it works great

I see used 1700 for 150€ all over the place. Also you don't need X370. You can OC fine on B350 and save money. The only difference is like SATA ports or something.

R7 1700 with a B350 PRO4 from asrock. Mobo is about 60-70$

 

Or just a R5 1600 with the mobo mentioned or step up a gen to the 2600 and the B450 version of the mobo allready mentioned
