TX650M for $60 ($40 with MIR) {Newegg}

Zando_

Newegg has this excellent PSU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139207&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=IGNEFL082418&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL082418-_-EMC-082418-Index-_-PowerSupplies-_-17139207-S0I&ignorebbr=1 for $60 with the coupon code EMCPXRT22 (you'll need to be signed up for Newegg emails though, it asks for them at the checkout before you can add any coupon codes), and $40 if you do the mail in rebate. The TX650M is an excellent 80+ Gold PSU, semi-modular, and super quiet. I put one in a watercooled rig for a friend last year and it's run fine, and in all the testing I did (6700K and an R9 390x IIRC) it never made a single sound. Defo reccomend if you want a new PSU with a beefy wattage that runs reeeally silently.

When you look at tier 2 it explicitly states the 550/650 models.  I think there's some slight differences in how theyre built/tuned for certain loads, but I honestly wouldn't let it deter you from buying one- ask in that thread if you want to be sure.

Any TXM for >$50 is a good deal.

Plus anything Tier 3 or higher is a really good PSU, tier 1s are just extra godly.

I've gotten a bit confused on where the PSU actually ships from. Customer service told me it ships from Denmark when I order on the Danish site, but even the Danish site says it ships from the US?

Help?

I'd assume US, since Newegg is a US company AFAIK.
