i think i am going to be a engineer and buy 4 longer screws and rubber rings to make the window 8mm bigger, the 8mm gap can be used as cooling and extra air. some filter netting around the gaps and done, your own pc solution for a cpu biggy problem.

hi everyone,

i have a question about my cpu cooler.

i have a coolermaster masterbox lite 3 and it is 406 x 180 x 379mm.

recommended cpu cooler height is 157mm, but i bought a be quiet dark rock pro 4.

the height of the be quiet is 162.8mm.

is there any way to let this work.?

there is a 5.8mm difference.

i hope you guys know it.

Only way i can see is to drill holes for the tops of the heat pipes to stick through, tops of the pipes look about 7/8mm

I think it's an acrylic window so if you do, tape both sides before drilling and check, double check then check again the holes are marked in the right place.
