Hello i am looking for a nice upgrade to my old Galaxy S5.

It should have:

-a removable battery

-a Headphone jack

-maybe stock android or better than touchwiz

-maybe 50% faster than the S5

The cost doesnt matter much to me.

Thank you in advance :)

The removable battery point is a hard point for current smartphones.

I would recommend the LG V20 but only if you like big phones.

It has a removable battery and a headphone jack and it should be way faster than your current S5.

The phone received Android 8 but I don't think it will get the new Android P.

I don't think a removable battery should be a factor in a purchase of a phone in 2018 because those phones are rare. If you want stock android i recommend a pixel, it also has a headphone jack and is pretty fast compared to your S5.

Removable battery isn't a thing anymore

just buy a Note 9 or something

Otherwise 1st Gen Google Pixel XL 128GBs are pretty cheap

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Thanks the V20 seems nice.

I know that they are rare but i would rather have a solution to a potential future problem like the usb port on my S5 breaking forcing me to switch the battery daily.

Same reason as the above reply as to why that is not an option for me. I also dont need the absolute latest phone since i mostly use my phone for listening to music from youtube.

So thank you for your help.

Just one last question:

whats a good price for the lg v20?

I would say $150-$170 for an unlocked version

That seems like an incredibly rare thing you really shouldn't worry about

Used or new? If used what would be a good price for a new one?

Just get one of the magnetic USB solutions so there's no chance of physical damage happening?

I would still rather have a removable battery.

On my next upgrade 2-3 years down i'll probably wont have a choice but for now i want to enjoy that feature.
