Hi, I have decided to build a PC with the following configuration:

Intel I5-8400: I haven't had a good experience with AMD on my last pc.

MSI z370-A pro: I'm choosing z370 just in case if I want to change my CPU to an unlocked one.

Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB founders edition: suits my budget

NZXT H500: Choosing because of good reviews as it keeps GPU temperature low

2666 C15-16 RAM: Should I chooose any specific one?

Corsair TXM 550watt: seems good enough to me

Samsung lc24fg70: 1ms response time as well as 144hz

I'll be using the pc for some gaming as well as some personal projects. I may run VMs on it.

What do you think of this build? please share you views.

Also, if possible could you suggest me alternate screen? I do not sit far away from screen, 1920*1080 resolution on a 24" screen looks good to me.

Also, If I decide that I won't be using an unlocked CPU, which motherboard would be good?

Does gaming variation of motherboards have any advantage?

In my area temperature goes as high as 45-48 degrees in summer. Should air cooler be sufficient or should I invest in a liquid cooler?

Thanks

For RAM, I've read at a lot of places that 2666 MHZ goes good with I5 8th gen. Should I consider a 24000MHZ ram?

Intel doesn't perform much better with higher clock speed, AMD does.

but i guess it doesn't effect budget much

Positive Mental Additude!

Just another Tired IT guy...
