Can’t remove GPU

I bought an nvme ssd but the graphics card is in the way. I try to pull back the tabs but the tab won’t pull back and i’m afraid to apply more force because i don’t want to damage my motherboard and barely any of the tab is visible. Also i don’t have screws for my ssd.

sometimes you have to push it down and not up. What motherboard is it?

 

 

EDIT: you actually have to push it back towards the motherboard.

Did you unscrew the card from the case? Need to work the tap on the pci slot to ensure it even has any give before pulling on the card if it’s giving you that much trouble.

You might need to use the eraser side of the pencil, a pen, or something to reach.

It may be hard to reach, but you need to push the tab in, and it should kick the card out.

 

I have a heck of a time reaching the locking tabs on my own motherboard since it was also hidden under the graphics card...and the CPU cooler was in the way too.
