3rd party release

Blindeagle

Hey guys i just got the "ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI" for my new build and I'm sure its going to last for a couple of years , especially for 1080p gaming at 240hz, However i wanted to ask about the new "rtx 2080ti" when will they get new releases from 3rd party vendors? Does it usually take like 3 month ? or is it straight away etc. I just got the 1080ti like 2 days ago but i dont think i will return it, Im sure it will be fine

Thanks

personally id return it and hold out, its going to be a few weeks or maybe even a coupple months before AIB cards start to hit the market. at least wait for the official NVIDIA annoucement of the cards to see if the 2080TI is even going to be a launch card

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Tbh that is the problem, i really dont want to wait 3 month , need a new pc right now and i got it at a good price so i think i will stick with it, end of the day the new cards might perform better but i doubt the 1080tii is suddenly not going to manage with games etc

It's like 48 hours until NVIDIA are holding a livestream that is probably the new card announcement so you can say after that, if you can return it right now you can probably return it in a couple of days as well
