Hello, I wish to share with the world a useless support agent who's only solution was for you to lower all the game settings to fix any performance issue - regardless of system specification or any other factor - that was his only advise.

I called into the EA live chat support surrounding some horrendous performance in Battlefield 1 as you can see in the screenshot below, but all he thought to say was something that I am almost guaranteed pratically everyone tries whenever there game runs badly. I waited 10 minutes after how I replied to see what he would say and he just didn't reply, presumably having ended the chat

I once did the unthinkable, back many headphones ago...

I split an audio split, again

This is the exact transcript with me reading it from my image

Rajesh (The customer support agent)

Ok give this a try

Nvidia BF1 settings

First open Nvidia Control panel under 3D settings go to Adjust image settings with *some word I can't see myself*

Myself

I have already done this step whilst following a guide, and sadly this did not make any diffrence

Rajesh

Okay! Put everything on low and it will be 200FPS most the time. Turn of Gysnce as well, if you have it. It will also reduce input lag. Go for the fastest response time in MP shooters. After all, the point is to win.

.....................

The context behind this is my system specifications which I already listed before getting to an agent. Now, for him to reply 'Just put everything on low' is an absolutely unacceptable, quick method to dismiss people from support. Its like Tesco's saying when you get moldy bread that claims its in date 'Oh just eat around the mold'. Its annoying as hell and I can't believe that is his only solution to fixing an issue which shouldn't even exist as far as I'm concerned.
