Im stuck between a ryzen 7 1800x ryzen 5 1600x and ryzen 5 2600x which one is better for gamign and streaming please help need a pro pov

If your budget allows i would go withe 2600 its should do everything you want.

I wouldn't recommend the 1800x, if anything 1700 or 1700x if you're feeling eager. The 1700 will OC fine. I'd let your question mingle a bit longer before making a decision. But 2600 should be able to OC to 2600, however the 2600x I think comes with a better cooler.

 

I like my 1700x because it handle streaming and gaming no issues. I'm sure the 2600x would do the fine, but I do production, rendering, game dev on the side, so I wanted the extra cores for those things.

Yeah the 2600X is probthe bes but for streaming, the 1800X is the best assuming you can find it for 225$ and in stock.

If overclocked the 1800x would be best for streaming, otherways the 2600x is also a good choice.

I just need really good frames because i want a 144hz monitor so i need that fps while streaming and you're saying the 2600x might be better for that? I also found an 1800x cheaper than the 2600x surprisingly and idk what to get

Get 2nd Gen Ryzen, they're just better in every measure. Better/faster memory support, lower cache latency, marginal IPC improvement and 200 to 300 MHz higher OC.
