So I am building my first computer and have a budget of $400 to $450 and want to use the Ryzen 2200G, a B450 board, and an SSD. I am wondering if this build looked good and if you had any suggestions.

Been told that case sucks, and you'll find yourself running out of 240GB really quickly. If you can spare another 40$ or so and get a WD Blue it would totally be worth it.

I'd grab a different case like the Deepcool Tesseract SW, and a hard drive like a WD Blue 1TB.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

And the ssd or just the hard drive? I really don't want to use a computer without an ssd

Yes. The 240GB SSD would serve as a boot drive, and programs that you use very often, where as the HDD would act as archival storage for large games, and files like photos and videos.

I also plan on getting a low end video card for Christmas maybe

What video card would you be looking into getting? There's not a huge point to having an APU, and a dedicated GPU.

Change the board to a B350 one. Change the case. That one has no airflow.

Is there any B350 that you suggest? It would be nice if I didn't have to update the BIOS. Also is the Masterbox 5 white too overkill for my price range?

Still, the case is not that good.

The 2200G should be supported as most manufacturers have already done a BIOS flash on the boards.

hi.

Or maybe even the cards after turning. The nice thing about going with AMD is that I can upgrade in the future when I have more money.
