Having a weird issue. I'm trying to fold on my 290, and it switches between Ready and Running a few times, then finishes up at Failed. Any help?

My GPU has worked fine in the 3 weeks I've owned it. I've coin mined (continues to work), games run perfectly, etc. Not quite sure why this is happening. Could be from me switching video cards, previously I had a 670 and stopped in the middle of a WU.

well... usually you want to avoid deleting work units but you said you have had the card for 3 weeks? so that work unit has been sitting there for 3 weeks? the deadline is probably overdue?  unless you have skipped to a new wu ofcourse..

i can't guarantee you this is correct, because i currently don't have the smp client i can't have a look myself but i think you will find it like this.

start > fahclient > data directory > work, the wu you can't complete should be in that work folder, delete it and relaunch the client, it should pick up on what has been going on and find a new unit.

Make sure you completely removed the old Nvidia drivers. Best bet, remove anything NVidia, uninstall FAH making sure to select the option to remove work units. Remove AMD drivers. Reinstall fresh AMD then reinstall FAH. Lot of times old drivers from different brand of card can mess things up.

As @tobben mention, also, in Advance View, go into Logs and make sure the slot for your GPU is selected - then copy and paste here the log and hopefully we can see the reason why it is failing.
